HOW TO USE
Get started in five steps.

Start with a display name
Choose “Start without signing in” and set the name used on shelves. Use Google or email only when you need to reopen existing shelves on another device.

Create a shelf
Choose a name that explains the theme, such as a book club, family picks, or books found while travelling.

Add a book that caught your eye
Search by title, author or ISBN, check the cover, then save it with a note and the person who chose it.

Invite your people
Share the shelf invitation. People can preview the books before joining and edit together after they join.

Browse and export
Choose whether to show member and contributor names, then save the complete shelf as a PNG image.

A shelf is not a public social feed.
Invited people only
Even without sign-in, each person receives a unique ID. A shelf is visible only to its owner and members who join from an invitation.
Ads stay away from shelves
Google AdSense loads only on the public guide you are reading. It does not load on sign-in, shelves, invitations, profiles or exported images.
External book catalogues
A book search sends the title, author or ISBN to several catalogue services. Shelf notes and member information are not sent with that search.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can anyone see a shelf?
No. Only the owner and members who join through an invitation can view it. Starting without sign-in does not make a shelf public.
Can about ten people join during an event?
Yes. People can choose “View the invitation without signing in” and join with only a display name, so the group does not have to wait for sign-in emails.
Can I reopen a loginless shelf on another device?
No. Access is stored in the browser where you started. Clearing browser data also prevents you from returning, so choose Google or email from the beginning if you need access on another device.
Can I buy a book or check stock?
No. Kininarun Shelf records book discoveries; it does not provide prices, stock information or purchasing.
What if no cover is found?
Try adding the author or ISBN to the search. We check several catalogues, but some editions do not provide a cover.
What appears in the exported image?
The shelf name, covers and book titles are included. You can choose whether to show shared members and each book's contributor before saving.
